MINUTES OF SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
APRIL 8, 2026
At 4:00 pm John Selzer made the motion to enter into Executive Session to discuss hiring and compensation for new Director. Steve Gross seconded the motion. Motion carried with a Roll Call vote as follows: Eckel-aye, Gross-aye, Jones-aye, Nigh-aye, Selzer-aye. Amber Stark-absent, Mary Jo Bish-absent (late). Request for additional non-voting parties, Laura King, Julie Getz, Karen Godfrey.
At 4:45 pm Steve Gross made a motion to exit Executive Session, Sharon Nigh seconded. Motion carried with a Roll Call vote as follows: Eckel-aye, Gross-aye, Jones-aye, Nigh-aye, Selzer-aye, Bish-aye, Stark-absent.
Steve Gross made a motion to make a formal offer of employment to Rachel Eyermann as the new director of the Pemberville Public Library. Mary Jo Bish seconded. Motion carried, all ayes recorded.
Ron Eckel made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:50 pm. Sharon Nigh seconded. Motion carried, all ayes recorded.
